PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION INTO THE DIPLOMA COURSES

Selection of candidates is governed by the rules and regulations laid down by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time.

1) Direct Entry into I Year

Candidates seeking admission into any Diploma course shall appear for the POLYCET conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada.
Candidates must have appeared for the S.S.C Examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh or an equivalent examination. Candidates with pending results are eligible subject to submission of proof at the time of admission.
Admissions are made strictly based on POLYCET merit and reservation rules prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

2) Lateral Entry into II Year (III Semester)

Lateral entry is applicable for the following categories:

Students who have completed relevant Intermediate Vocational Course (IVC) and passed the Bridge Course as prescribed by SBTET-AP. Admissions are limited to 10% of the sanctioned intake.
Students who have completed relevant ITI Trade and passed the Bridge Course as prescribed by SBTET-AP. Admissions are limited to 10% of the sanctioned intake.
Admissions are governed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) following Government of Andhra Pradesh norms.
